
Beach photos
The sea has provided opportunities for work and leisure. But, it has also served as an ever present and increasing threat in terms of coastal erosion and sea level rise.
Attempts have been made to halt the progress of erosion, including a sea wall in the 1950s and, more recently, the Medmerry Realignment Project.
