Description
Set 136. Postcard of ‘Beacon House, Selsey-on-Sea’, showing the shingle beach up against the garden fence. It was situated to the southeast of the village and was a popular place for visitors to stay from the late 1880s. The land in front of the house was gradually eroded and it was abandoned and subsequently demolished in the mid 1920s. it was situated about 220 metres out to sea, east of the end of Oval Lane, near the Bill.
